I live in Texas and design all patterns for Wollyonline here at home. I'm originally Dutch but we have been living abroad since 1997. My husband, also Dutch, travels the world for work and I happily travel along.

My first doll clothes are from 1993 and I still have a jacket that I made that year. That was the year that I found 3 beautiful Zapf dolls and one look told me that I had to buy these dolls because they really needed some fun clothes. After the first few pieces I knew that I had found a new hobby.

The designing of doll patterns started in 1999 when I made some Christmas gifts for the daughter of a friend. We were living in Manila at the time and there are of course no clothes for European play dolls available. I found some patterns in a magazine but I really wanted to make some more pieces and after a few hours of avid drawing, my own patterns were ready. Once my own designs were sewn, I was sold and Wollyonline was born.
